Welcome to StraightForks. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StraightForks platform and authentication services operated by StraightForks ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Services Overview

StraightForks provides:

  • Account Management: A unified account system for accessing multiple applications within our ecosystem
  • Authentication Services: Secure sign-in via email/password, Google OAuth, and Discord OAuth
  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Seamless authentication across our family of applications

StraightForks itself does not sell products or process payments. Individual applications within our ecosystem (such as Comify) have their own terms governing purchases and subscriptions.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use our services.

2.2 Account Information

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

2.3 One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain only one account. We reserve the right to terminate duplicate accounts.

3. Use of Services

Your StraightForks account may be used to access various applications within our ecosystem. Each application may have additional terms of service that govern your use of that specific application.

4.2 Data Sharing

By using your StraightForks account with connected applications, you consent to the sharing of your basic account information (name, email, profile picture) with those applications as necessary to provide the services.

5. Intellectual Property

StraightForks, our logos, and our service marks are trademarks of StraightForks. You may not use these without our prior written permission.

5.2 Your Rights

You retain all rights to any content you provide through our services. By providing content, you grant us a license to use it as necessary to provide our services.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Deletion will remove your access to all connected applications.

6.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Create risk or legal exposure for us

We will provide notice when reasonably possible.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRAIGHTFORKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StraightForks from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through our services. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
